Creative Director

Brandon started at Sign Design fresh out of high school. It started as “just a job”, but became an interest and a passion for signage. After over 20 years, he is still trying to find ways to push the envelope and make new and engaging designs. Every day is something new and he enjoys the challenge of finding the right solution for a specific space or function. Aside from design, Brandon also worked in installation, fabrication, and finishing which helped him learn the many facets of our industry.

When he isn’t designing, he spends time with his “relentless” daughters and wife and cheering on the Bruins.

What do you love most about Sign Design/Employee Ownership?

It’s always something new every day. I enjoy the challenge of finding the right solution for a specific space or function. I’ve worked with a lot of my coworkers (and clients) for decades, and it really is like a big family in a lot of ways.

What made you want to work at Sign Design? What makes you stay?

I started in 2001 fresh out of high school. A friend of mine worked at Sign Design and I was looking for something that wasn’t flipping burgers. At 18 it was just a job, but as the years went on my interest and passion for signage grew. 22 years later, and here we are... still trying to find ways to push the envelope and make new and engaging designs.

Where have you worked prior to Sign Design?

I worked at Burger King in high school for about 4 months before I realized the King wasn’t real. Then it really didn’t seem worth it anymore. Don’t even act like you would have stayed after having that revelation.

What other roles have you had at Sign Design?

I started working with the installation team and also helped around the shop in fabrication. There was then a need for help in the finishing department, so I moved there. I eventually moved to the design department in 2004. Having worked in different departments has helped me learn so many aspects of the industry.

Do you have any hobbies?

Being beaten up by my two lovely children. They’re relentless.
